The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The more info service place developed for SRD intervention ordeals a substantial inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it hard for the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to enable the servicing of all sassa status check consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
